Glenwood is a uniquely situated gateway city to the Ouachita Mountains in South-Western Arkansas. Only 30 miles west of the resort town of Hot Springs, Glenwood is only minutes away from the three beautiful lakes of DeGray, Greeson, and famous Lake Ouachita.
Glenwood is also centrally located between the natural wonders of quartz crystal mines in Mt. Ida to the north, and the worlds only diamond mine open to the public where what you find you keep, just south of us in Murfreesboro. But one has plenty to enjoy right here in town, including one of the best golf courses in the entire state, and the Caddo River which has quickly become one of the most popular floating rivers not only for Arkansas, but for thousands of visitors from Texas and Lousiana each year.
